At some point August Verch would buy the farm from Anna and marry her in 1911.

Anna would die on June 9, 1922 leaving August to raise the three boys from Friedrich and Anna, as well as a daughter Anna Verch whom they had together. They also had a son named August Verch Jr. in 1913 but he died shortly after birth.

Regarding their marriage:

- Otto Briesmeister is Anna's younger brother
- "Fred Verch" is Fritz Fred Verch, he is Augusts older brother
- The term "Messrs." is used as a title to refer formally to more than one man simultaneously, or in names of companies.
